PRE-QUALIFICATION OF SUPPLIERS

Rift valley Railways (Kenya) Ltd invites tenders from interested suppliers (Bidders) for pre-qualification to supply parts and materials indicated below:

Tender documents detailing the requirements may be obtained from the General Manager, Procurement & Supplies, Rift Valley Railways (Kenya) Ltd, on the Ground Floor, Haile Selassie Avenue, Nairobi, Kenya, on normal working days beginning on 14th October 2011 between 9.00 am to 12.30 p.m. and 2.00p.m. To 4.30 pm upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kenya Shillings Two Thousand, Seven Hundred Only (KShs. 2,700/=). Payment shall be made in Cash or by Bankers Cheque at the Rift Valley Railways Ltd Headquarters Building, Haile Selassie Avenue, Ground Floor, Cash Office.

Complete pre-qualification documents in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked with the “Serial No. and Tender Description” as more particularly described in the tender documents should be addressed and delivered to:

Save when responding to RVR’s request for a clarification, bidders shall not contact or discuss any aspect of their tender with RVR, after closing date before receipt of notification of award of tender or letters of regret as applicable. Any such contacts shall lead to disqualification of the tenders.
